It has a timber frame covered in corrugated iron. It is a very elaborate example of a "tin tabernacle". These were usually very plain and cheap and found in working class or poor rural areas. This church was bought from a catalogue and was the most expensive one in it.
WebMay 11, 2024 · Two Night stay. Rented the smaller part of the Tin Church building for a couple of nights. A nice bolthole for a weekend break. Travelled by car and found the Building without any difficulty. Rooms were comfortable and clean and lovely views from the Church. Tin Church is a quirky ,interesting Building and ideal for a summer weekend break.
