Web26 jul. 2014 · In speaking with a couple of well-known AR builders, I've been told that getting really fine accuracy with 308 bbls on the AR10 chassis can be frustrating. Not that it can't be done, but sometimes it's an elusive goal. I recently sold a DPMS AR10 in 308 to a friend who'd expressed interest in it. I almost bought a standard American but read of the accuracy decreasing after five or six shots. For a hunting rifle, that doesn't matter, but I like to shoot paper and held off until the Predator version came out.
